STARE IT down

Most of my clients have procrastination and resistance as some form of staying "stuck." I use the Stare It Down method to reframe the good, the bad and the ugly...

PROCRASTINATION? STARE IT down.
To finishing my taxes, cleaning my apartment, starting my exercise program, calling Mom…

Tricks we play on ourselves: “I don’t have time now. It will take too much time.” What? Like there are more than 24-hours in a day anyway?  Who’s foolin’ Who?

RESISTANCE? STARE IT down. To using the calendar, Embracing technology, Ending a relationship, Looking for work, Finding something to feel passionate about…

Tricks we play on ourselves:  “Ouch… If I put IT on the calendar I may have to actually do it.”  Wow.  I may have just become accountable to… MYSELF.  Way-to-Go.

AFFIRMATION:  “Knowing that if I want to feel better, more often and for longer, STARING IT down first mentally gives me just the internal push to create the “Positive Addiction” found in momentum. This is some seriously, life changing stuff for me.”
